Check out this book on Goodreads: Wolf Marked

This review is based on the four books. I hate that it took 4 books to get to the HEA. Then of course it is like the last chapter that you get to it at the end of the battle.

Savy had a whirlwind of a month. I mean four books worth of a one month period.

Her parents died when she was younger leaving her in the care of her Godmother. She didn't no anything of magic or that she had any.

When werewolves start coming for her she goes to find family she's never met.

In comes Jaxson who she thinks is apart of some government agency.

He tries to keep her away from her family, not wanting them to turn her against them and ruin their investigation into the rouge wolves pushing drugs.

Their families don't have a great history. It is filled with hurt, death, and betrayal. While Savy is a LaSalle, she wasn't there for that history or doesn't know anything about it.

She is being pulled in all directions both sides wanting her for their side.

While also struggling with trying to go after who is after her.

Each book has a new enemy that she must defeat. The plot was good with always have suspense and a battle they are going into.

I did have the problem of Savannah and her take on the mate bond. It came off wrong her response for as long as she had it. The attitude no one owns me, I'm my own person, fates can't tell me what to do. Then the next, always feeling the pull and relying on Jaxson for places to stay, money, clothes, her livelihood. Helping her w. safety. Then if someone looked at him, like at the party where she snarled at the woman after just telling him she wasn't his, then the jealously that flared from her.

It was like if you are choosing love, then choose it. And her attitude at times was over the top, just a little too much. Then not telling the Alpha, her mate, issues with her wolf disappearing when it happened as he could of helped her.

While it was a great story with the suspense and the battles and you were entertained, there were aspects about Savannah that bothered me with how her character came across, and that it took so long to get there. In one month all these things happened, it just felt like on and on, that I almost gave up, like are we not going to get there yet?
