This was such a cute story. Their hate names for each other Hillbilly/upchuck and Poppycock.

The kids they were that were mean to each other and presented as they were arch nemesis. When really they both liked each other, but as kids were to immature to display their emotions. So they picked at one another.

Poppy is going through a hard time, losing her dad, going through a divorce.

She hangs on to the banter/hate between her and Charles, until the lines blurs and then you have porcupines. I loved that.

This story has many laughing moments and how their journey begins. Being from the mid-west I loved reading about relatable things, that are so common for us.

This was another excellent story from the author, the second book of hers I read, and I know she is now a must read for me, as her stories draw you in and you just keep wanting more!
