This book has moved up to my top ten list of favorite books, and will be on my re-read list!! I love a book that makes me laugh throughout it. Emma is an awkward socially inept person, so she strays away from conversation with strangers not knowing how to adapt to the situation without an embarrassing turn for herself.
She speaks the thoughts that enter her mind without realizing she says them aloud for all to hear.
Her next-door neighbor is amused by Emma’s constant battle of socially awkward attempts. In an effort to turn a new leaf for herself she is making herself experiment and learn the dating world. She wants that for herself to have an emotional connection with another human being then the cold scenes of the hookups she has previously had.
When she asks her neighbor Jess for his help, being her dating coach, and have them “pretend” to be dating to show her the ropes, what could go wrong?
Jess has a past of being scorn by the wrong women. His trust broken to pieces by the past. While he tries at every turn to not allow Emma in, can he succeed in his mission without falling for her?
This is a story that you will laugh through out it. It was such an amazing book; I was sad when the story ended and now I have a huge book hangover. Make sure you grab your copy, it is a must read!!
