The Book of Lost Names

Check out this book on Goodreads: The Book of Lost Names

By @kristinharmel

This is my second book by Kristin Harmel, in the last few days. I also just finished, The Room on Rue Amélie. Her writing is amazing and her story takes you to a time that you imagine life must have been like for many in the war.

The story of Eva and Remy being apart of the resistance and helping forge documents, so many could escape to freedom. Children that were now alone and having to go on with life without their parents who were captured by the Nazis or killed.

Eva and Remy had to erase their names and give them new identities.

The relationship they built between each other. Coming from different religions was a thing though that weighed heavily on Eva's heart as she as Jewish and Remy was Catholic in a period of time that the Jewish community was under attack.

This book was so beautifully written and I look forward to reading more of her books!
